Villard Avenue has implemented VILLARD AVENUE VISION ZERO, a district-wide public safety initiative that focuses on collaborating with law enforcement, city departments, and community partners to address public safety in our neighborhood. The Villard Avenue VISION ZERO initiative is a 4 pillar evidence-based international model that has proven effective to reduce crashes and deaths. For Villard Avenue, we have adopted the same equity focused model, and are using as our approach to all public safety, as issues stem beyond traffic.

Villard's VISION ZERO Initiative's focus is to implement several ongoing projects by intentionally incorporating Equity into Engineering projects, Educational Outreach efforts, and forement measures to directly address public safety in our community.
