Senator Tammy Baldwin has announced a grant award to the city of Milwaukee to redesign W Villard Avenue. This includes raised bike lanes, raised intersections, curb extensions, bus bulbs, lighting and signal improvements, a pedestrian plaza, and other streetscaping enhancements. These changes could mean big things for the Villard Avenue Business Improvement District (BID). The impact of this grant has the potential to be very transformative, and we're looking forward to seeing the exciting possibilities it could do for the Villard BID.
